He is also integral to the growth of business by developing efficient, repeatable, and scalable investment processes as well as working closely with team members and business owners to negotiate and contract appropriate vender services.

With over 20 years in the financial services industry, David’s background includes sales and service of individual insurance products, administration of defined contribution plans and, most recently, investment platform management. Prior to joining Shepherd Financial, David was employed by OneAmerica Retirement Services for fifteen years. During his tenure at OneAmerica, through strategic partnerships and prudent investment selection, he grew the investment platform from under 200 funds to over 400 funds, representing $10+ billion in AUM. In addition to earning his Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation, he is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association® and a graduate of Purdue University.

David and his wife of 18 years, Heather, and their three teenage sons are residents of Fishers and members of Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis. When not at the office, you may see David riding on the Monon Trail or on one of the mountain bike trails around the Indianapolis area. He also spends a fair amount of time on the sidelines of his sons’ many soccer games and in the audience of their band concerts. Four dogs happily greet him at the door when he returns home each evening.
